Visiting KeKe's Art Space: founder KeKe on awakening your creativity and finding the one-of-a-kind you through painting and AI
An art studio in Tanjong Pagar: four programmes, 90-minute lessons, from age 4 to adults; founder KeKe says it is not only about technique — it is about finding your own way of expressing things.

Four programmes, fees and visiting
In Tanjong Pagar, on the second floor of International Plaza, there is a small art studio: KeKe's Art Space. We visited its founder, KeKe, to hear what the studio is trying to do — in one line: awaken your creativity, and find the one-of-a-kind you through painting combined with AI.
The studio's homepage carries three words: Create · Learn · Inspire. KeKe says it is not only about teaching technique; what she cares about is whether a person can find their own way of expressing things in front of a canvas — starting from the first stroke, slowly discovering which colours, lines and rhythms you like. Complete beginners are welcome, and so are people who have painted for years: lessons are tailored to each student's level and goals.

Four programmes are on offer. Creative Art Programme (ages 4–10): creative drawing, painting, mixed media and hands-on projects, with the priority of protecting a child's willingness to just draw. Professional & Advanced Drawing (11–18): perspective, still life, colour theory and portfolio development, laying a foundation for further study. DSA Portfolio Programme: for students applying to schools through the Direct School Admission art route — portfolio coaching, artwork review, interview preparation and school application guidance. Adult Art Course: for grown-ups picking up a brush again — beginner friendly, whether acrylic, watercolour or sketching.

Each lesson runs 90 minutes. Children: SGD 60 for one session, SGD 250 for five. Adults: SGD 70 for one session, SGD 300 for five (please refer to the official website). Beyond regular classes the studio also takes customised workshops: birthday parties, festive workshops and corporate team building, by appointment.

On the “combining AI” part, KeKe's view is that AI does not replace the person painting; it frees you from the anxiety of “does it look like the real thing”. The technical part can be handed to a tool — the part of the work that is genuinely yours can only be decided by you. The same idea runs through her teaching: find your interest first, then talk about technique.
The studio shares a few student and parent reviews on its site: “We had such a wonderful and meaningful time at the studio. It was more than just a drawing class,” one writes; another mentions that it was her first scratch-painting class and she did not expect it to be so much fun; a third says the teacher is friendly and patient, and the space quiet and comfortable.

So whether you are looking for a quiet interest class for your child, preparing for the DSA art route, or simply want somewhere to spend a weekend, there is a programme that fits.
The studio is at International Plaza, 10 Anson Road, #02-76, Singapore 079903, a short walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT. Opening hours: Mon–Fri 9:00–17:00, Sat 10:00–16:00, Sun 12:00–15:00. To ask about classes or book a lesson, fill in the booking page at kekeartspace.com, or message KeKe on WhatsApp: +65 8087 7237.
An art studio can give you more than a skill. If you are looking for a quiet place for your child, or you would like to pick up a brush again yourself, book a lesson and sit down with it — start painting, and the answer turns up on its own.
