Where AI can sit in the summit

Today Global International met *Mr You Dixiang (游迪翔), President of the Asia-Pacific Elite Entrepreneurs Association*, to discuss how AI can be applied at the inaugural Asia-Pacific International Cooperation Summit 2026.

Background: the Inaugural Asia-Pacific International Cooperation Summit 2026 will be held from 17 to 20 December 2026 at Forest City Marina Hotel, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, with the main session on 18 December, 2:00pm–9:00pm. Its theme is “Uniting Asia-Pacific Wisdom, Creating a Prosperous Future Together”, around the keywords cooperation, trust, win-win and future, across six tracks: high-level dialogue, global cooperation, business opportunities, investment growth, cultural exchange, and innovation & development. The summit is organised by Culture & Economic Trade (Singapore), with the Asia-Pacific Elite Entrepreneurs Association as international guiding organisation.

We discussed where AI can fit: first, multilingual communication — live translation and document translation across Chinese, English and Malay/Indonesian so that cross-border conversations are not limited by language; second, attendee services — an AI service desk answering common questions on the agenda, venue, registration and accommodation; third, business matchmaking — matching participants intelligently by industry and need, so “who should meet whom” happens faster; and fourth, post-event content — minutes, summaries and multilingual publishing that capture what the summit achieved. Global International offered its hands-on experience in AI Agent applications and AI customer service.

The meeting over a meal
Continuing the discussion over a meal on how to bring AI into the summit.

On approach, the discussion was to start with a small pilot on one or two tracks, prove the result, and then decide on wider rollout; the details will be confirmed as summit preparations progress.
